Black Star Studios is a vibrant art space in the heart of Downtown Invermere, BC, celebrating 16 years of creativity and community. Founded by friends Jen Abra, fabric artist and Natalie Ruby, glass artist, the studio features their work and the works of over 65 talented Canadian artists, offering a dynamic gallery experience that’s always fresh and inspiring. In addition to showcasing local talent, Black Star Studios hosts a variety of art workshops year-round, including polymer clay, painting, and paper mache, designed for participants of all ages (5-99!).

The studio’s most popular workshops continue on and transformed into DIY art kits—carefully created, designed, and packed by Jen and Natalie themselves. These kits are designed to bring the fun and confidence of art-making into your own home, eliminating frustration and encouraging creative exploration.
