Here are a few tips and tricks!

Be creative and Have fun!
Clean your hands, and use a wet wipe or a damp cloth for in between colours as you are making the ornaments. The colour of the clay will spread to other colours if it is on your hands.
Have a clean surface to work on like a piece of white paper or a plastic tablecloth or placemat.
Clay pieces may stick to one another, in this case use the toothpick to pick colours away from the others before you start your ornament.
After you make your awesome art…Bake your clay at 275 F for 15 minutes per 1/4 inch thickness on a foil lined cookie sheet, let cool before handling

Be Creative and Have fun!
No need to use water in the paint unless you want to water it down for a transparent effect.
A hairdryer can speed up the drying process.
Paint the sides of your canvas for a finished look
